Catching Up on My Summer
Summer VacationMy Niece Graduated from High School!
This summer I took my sweet niece to London and Paris for her graduation trip. While we were in London, we did the toursitiest of things and went up in the London Eye. Views were spectacular!
Further Afield: European Road Trip
While we were in Europe, we decided to hire a car from Paris and go a little further afield. We spent one day driving to Luxembourg. It was Fete Nationale and we had a blast. The next day, we went to Ghent and Bruges in Belgium. Storybook beautiful towns with the loveliest people. Also, did I mention the chocolate? So. Much. NEUHAUS!
Writer Life: So Much Happening!
In between this summer's vacation, my huge Prime Day sale, and everyday life with RLBB and yellow dog Duke, I've gotten in so much writing!
First, I am working on a brand new book. It will be ready for beta readers in the next month or two, and I'll be posting about that opportunity in my reader group on Facebook. The new book is set in a small Texas town and features the hometown boy who went off to Hollywood and made it big. The girl he left behind was never far from his thoughts, and we get to see what happens when he comes back home determined to get over her. More details soon!
I'm also working on a spin-off in the world of Max and Brie from The Dating Alternative. I've almost finished the story sketch for The Engagement Alternative which features two reader-favorite characters from the original book (and don't worry, Nana Dorothy will be back in full, feisty force, too!) Slated for a late Fall release, I'll share more details (and the cover) in a future newsletter, so stay tuned. If you haven't read The Dating Alternative yet, it's available via ebook, paperback, and audiobook.
Last but certainly not least, I have such big news coming up on August 26th, that I'm having trouble keeping it a secret until then! I'm working on a new project, and honestly, it's one of the most exciting things I've done. I cannot wait to share! *bites tongue*

Two Truths and a Lie
Wow. You all really had my number on this one!
I've literally been to Hell. TRUTH! Although, I took a little liberty with the homonym, HEL is the airport code for Helsinki, Finland, which I visited in 2017. (LOVED IT! Cannot wait to go back.)
Before my first novel, I worked as a ghostwriter/contributor on eight, best-selling novels. TRUTH! I worked for a large publishing house helping to polish work for other authors before I ventured out on my own.
I speak four languages fluently. LIE! It's true, I grew up speaking a hybrid of British and American English, and I speak just enough French to confuse taxi drivers, but that's it.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
